Deschamps, having arrived back in 2012, is not set to depart. He would have wanted to be taking charge of his final game on the Sunday, in the final of the 2026

The identity of his successor is the worst-kept secret in world football. Zinédine Zidane has been holding out for the position and he is now set to sign on the dotted line,

understands. The publication states that the contract is all ready but not yet signed.
Zidane’s arrival should be made official a few days after the conclusion of the
; the FFF want the contract to be signed by 21st July. The former Real Madrid would arrive with a much bigger staff than that of his predecessor. 25 staff members are expected to arrive with Zidane, who also wants to make the composition of the backroom staff more feminine.
