The 40-year-old goalkeeper made seven saves and kept a clean sheet, leading to millions of new followers on Instagram.
With Vozinha playing a major role, Cape Verde ended up reaching the Round of 32, where they fell in extra time to runners-up Argentina. While the team wanted to farther, Vozinha had done more than enough to force potentially one final, big move to a notable club.
Vozinha has verbal agreement with Colo-Colo, iconic club from Chile
There were rumors of Lionel Messi's Inter Miami signing him, but that won't be the case. Instead, it appears that legendary club Colo-Colo in Chile has a verbal agreement to bring in Vozinha.
It's yet to be seen if Vozinha will be the team's starting goalkeeper. Colo-Colo restarted its Liga de Primera campaign this week.
