Manchester United’s plans for the rest of the summer transfer window have emerged, a day after wrapping up two deals. United are expected to have a busy few weeks in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
Monday saw Andrey Santos become United's first official signing of the summer transfer window, with the Reds agreeing a £50million deal with Chelsea for the Brazilian to move to Old Trafford.
Karl Darlow has also signed for United on a free transfer just a couple of weeks after his contract at Leeds United ran out.
Aston Villa star Youri Tielemans has emerged as a target for United this summer, with the Belgium international thought to have a £35million release clause in his contract at Villa Park.

The update regarding Tielemans comes amidst uncertainty surrounding the future of Atalanta star Ederson, whom United had previously agreed to sign earlier in the summer for £35million plus an additional £3.8million in add-ons.
However, Atalanta director Cristiano Giuntoli has today stated: "We were stunned [by Man United calling Ederson deal off]. Now we are working on a new contract for him."
Michael Carrick will be occupied preparing his squad for the beginning of the new Premier League season, with pre-season commencing later this week.
With the summer transfer window remaining open, United are now expected to enter the market for at least three more new players.
According to The Sun , United will seek to bring in another midfielder, left winger and a forward once a deal to sign Tielemans is completed. Should this come to pass, it would bring United's total number of new arrivals to six ahead of their return to Champions League football.
Nevertheless, the report also suggests that United could "pause" further incomings after wrapping up a deal for Tielemans, while they weigh up their options and push through departures from the club this summer.
