Liverpool's transfer window is yet to kick into full gear. Andoni Iraola's team will soon jet off for a pre-season tour of the United States .

After a lacklustre Premier League title defence last term, Arne Slot has been supplanted and Iraola is at the helm. Ahead of his first season in charge, Spanish winger and World Cup finalist Victor Munoz has arrived from Osasuna . Jeremy Jacquet has also joined up with the squad after his £60million move from Rennes was sealed in January.

But some big-name stars have left this summer. Andy Robertson has joined Tottenham after the expiry of his contract and Ibrahima Konate's deal also wound down. He is now a Real Madrid player.

Mohamed Salah will undoubtedly leave a huge void too, but unlike his former team-mates he is yet to find a new club . One potential suitor has been asked about the Egyptian and the club chief's response was telling. Mirror Football brings you the latest Reds transfer updates.

In a press conference this week, the club's president of soccer operations, David Lee, was asked whether his team were interested in Salah and he refused to rule out the possibility.

Lee said: "I'm not going to share anything on individual players, whether those players are under contract or not. I'm not going to get into the habit of talking about individual players.

"We are interested in really good players. So anyone we think can be a fit for us and is going to fit what we would like to do, we have an interest in and would like to have a conversation with."

A different former Liverpool player has found a new club after becoming a free agent this summer. Yasser Larouci joined the Reds in 2017 from Le Havre and was a part of the 2019 FA Youth Cup-winning team.

The wing-back was handed his debut by Jurgen Klopp in 2020 when he came off the bench for an injured James Milner in an FA Cup win against Everton . He never quite cracked the first team though and left in 2021 as a free agent.

From there, Larouci returned to France to play for Troyes and has been loaned out to Sheffield United, Watford and Greek outfit Kifisia in recent seasons.
