He rejected Leeds' offer and opted for
. The club thanked him for his service, noting his professionalism and work in the community.
Darlow arrived ahead of 2023/24 and debuted in a League Cup win over Shrewsbury Town. The following season he started the final seven Championship matches, six of which Leeds won, sealing the title at Plymouth Argyle on the last day.
That same term he made his Wales debut, following his grandfather into international football. His first cap came in a 2-1 away win over Montenegro and he now has 15 full caps, establishing himself as Cymru's number one.
Back in the Premier League, he featured 22 times last season and collected April's Save of the Month for denying Wolverhampton Wanderers' Ladislav Krejci from point-blank range.
