Forest fans tip Oliver Glasner to inspire stronger Premier League season
Nottingham Forest supporters are optimistic about Oliver Glasner’s impact, with many expecting the Reds to push on in the Premier League this season.
According to Nottingham Post, a fan poll for 2026/27 found 46 per cent tipping a finish between sixth and 10th.
A further 10 per cent believe a top five spot is possible. Others are more cautious, with 35 per cent predicting 11th to 14th.
Six per cent foresee 15th to 17th, and three per cent fear relegation remains a possibility.
The Austrian arrives with a track record of success. He led Crystal Palace to the FA Cup, Community Shield and Conference League, the first silverware in their history, then left at the end of last season.
Forest hope he can translate that by the Trent. European qualification is the target after last season’s Europa League semi-final run, while avoiding a repeat of the 2025/26 relegation fight that saw four head coaches come and go.
